yet if you read the newspaper accounts and transcripts, you’d find that self defense should have been the outcome of the case …

Sometimes being a celebrity and being in trouble before can work against you!

But the book will address all of these issues :)

It will be interesting to see what new information this book brings to light.
Several facts, however, are established. John was arrested after a 1964 show in Seattle. He was tried for murder and found guilty in 1965. An eyewitness reported that John had been drinking the evening of the incident.

This is the case with Little Willie John. Many write things about him as if they’ve done research , when in fact, they’ve just repeated something that they’ve hear or read before. Just because you’ve read something on the web doesn’t make it factual.

The situation with Willie John did not take place “backstage”

Many of the folks that speak about Willie’s “bad temper” and “taste for alcohol” had never spoken to Willie or saw him take a drink.

There is a biography in the works that will accurately chronicle the life and musical career of this iconic figure. It will be both authoritative and accurate!
